The following information is important for those attending or anticipating attending the International Conference of Investigative Associations (http://www.icia2012.net/) August 2nd-4th in San Antonio.

  1. The Crowne Plaza Hotel on the famous River Walk has extended the room rate through the end of business TODAY, Thursday July 26th. Please make your reservations today!
  2. There will be a conference booklet given to you at registration. However, this will NOT include any handout materials. Those presenters that have made their materials available are available for you to download before the conference on the conference web site.
  3. When you check in you will receive a free tote bag with nice gifts so be sure to get your tote bag.
  4. When you get your registration packet your will see a different look to your name badge. It will have a bar code on it and this will be scanned and will be used for ATTENDANCE records. As you enter each session there will be board members with a scanner that will quickly scan your badge and hand you a receipt. KEEP this receipt as your record of attending the particular seminar.
  5. For those who have a hard time breaking old habits, there will also be the normal document for listing all of your seminars that you attended.
  6. If you are an Android user, there is an app that you can download on the conference site that is to be used for the conference. We have been trying to get the IPhone app through the process for almost 4 months and still hope to do so before the actual conference. The Android app download is at the top of each page of the conference web site.
  7. We will have both general sessions and breakout sessions during the conference. The general sessions will include all attendees and you will be able to choose what seminars you want to attend during the breakout sessions.

You are not going to want to miss out on the vendors and association co-sponsors participating. This is the perfect time to get face-to-face with those vendors and services that can help you run your business better! You will not have a better opportunity to network with the leaders of other state, national and international associations who are all coming together to participate in the association round table. For attending, you will also get the free software from Joseph Seanor and 5 E-books written by Kelly Riddle with a combined value of $250!!!
