WASHINGTON — A former Maryland detective and owner of a private investigation firm has been awarded the ‘2013 Distinguished Service Award’ by private intelligence communications agency Griffith-Colson.

Det. Michael Riker, who also serves as President of the International Counterterrorism Officers’ Association, serves on the Executive Security Council of GCIS (Griffith Colson Intelligence Service). He is also the host of ICTOA Radio.

“Det. Riker is always working, he is always on top of the issues with regard to our national security and never seems to tire”, said a spokeswoman for GCIS, “We are honored to honor him in our 2013 awards events”.

The GCIS Distinguished Service Award will be presented to Mr. Riker this summer.
