I am honored and proud to carry on the work of our former Director, W. Edward Griffith and his wife Alysyn. I have been with them since GCIS was started, and was mostly impressed by the Executive Security Council created with a new vision of accountability, in an industry, where accountability gave a bad name to the industry itself.

Our Director and his wife, and many of you on our team, have spent the grueling hours with us to make the decisions to help protect our country. Boston proved that we need to do more and do it better. I want to thank “Uncle Henry from SSI” and “Uncle Ralph” from NAIS, thank you for believing in us and our goals.

I will do things a little differently than our former director. I will also listen to him and I admire his ability to overcome the odds and inspire us.

Our communications will change soon. The Washington D.C. number for GCIS will soon become a 310 number. I am also ordering full cyber sweeps of all GCIS staff, and thanking our ESC members for staying on board and giving me a chance to prove that it has always been about the mission and not the company itself.

I also want to personally thank W. Edward Griffith, Our Director and his wife and one of my personal Heronines, Alysyn, for giving me the inspiration to do this.

I will work harder to make our Cyber Assault Tactical Service, also known as C.A.T.S., become better to help our government to combat the threat of cyber terror. It is my passion. Please pray for me and I promise that GCIS is more than a company. It is a spirit. I am humbled and proud to continue this mission.

Some things will change. I did not agree with everything our former director said in public, but I respected him because he said what he believed. Now we must learn from those who come before us and do what we can to protect our country and our friends around the world.

Please pray for me and for our mission at GCIS. I can’t wait to see W and Alysyn golf again.

~Kayla E. Cohen, Director of Griffith Colson Intelligence Service.
